Cal Hero
Founder
Cal was born and raised in Texas and started his Medicare Health Care career in 1989. Cal has three wonderful children with their mother who was also his high school sweetheart. He enjoys getting involved in local activities with family and volunteering his time coaching baseball. Cal hobbies include BBQ cooking competitions, Radio-Controlled cars (big boy toys), playing golf, and making people laugh.
Helena Hero
Operations
Helena was born in Amarillo, TX where she met her husband Cal Hero, the founder of MedicareMall. Helena is great at helping everyone in the office and ensures that everything is running smoothly at MedicareMall. In her spare time, you can find her cheering on her son at his baseball games, spending time with her two beautiful daughters and family, or playing a round of poker with her friends.
Michelle Atkinson
Accounting and Human Resources
Michelle has been with Golden Senior Advisors Inc., the parent company of MedicareMall, since 2007. Michelle moved to the area from Amarillo, TX and handles all accounting and human resource duties for MedicareMall and Golden Senior Advisors Inc. When she is not working, Michelle loves spending time with her wonderful husband and family.
Stephanie Friday
Sales and Customer Support
Stephanie Friday joined the Medicare Mall Team 2011. She is originally from Indiana, but has lived all over the world with her Army Husband. Stephanie works closely with MedicareMall’s valued customers and is always eager to answer questions and help clients through the application process. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her children.
Jae Fuentes
Marketing
Jae Fuentes joined Golden Seniors Advisors Inc., parent company of MedicareMall, in November 2008. She currently assists in marketing and managing agents. Jae is originally from Corpus Christi, TX. In her spare time she enjoys all water related activities, hiking, reading, video gaming and expanding her DVD collection.
Richard Thompson
Product Marketing
Richard Thompson is a product marketing analyst from Hawaii. He moved to Central Texas and joined the MedicareMall team in spring of 2011. He studied Commercial Music, International Business, and Forensics. When he is not conducting marketing experiments, he enjoys playing piano, salsa dancing, tennis, and collecting Pez dispensers.
Ashley Hebler
Web Design and Development
Ashley joined the MedicareMall team in November of 2010. She is from Galveston, TX and works as the web/graphic designer for the site. Ashley graduated from Texas State University in August of 2012 with a Master’s degree in Mass Communication. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys floating down the local river and playing disc golf.
Christopher M. Filipponi
Broker/Agency Support
Christopher joined Golden Senior Advisors, Inc., the parent company of Medicare Mall, in July of 2008 and has since preformed a number of jobs for the company including: IT support, contracting, marketing, licensing, broker and agency support. He has recently acquired his State Insurance License. When Christopher is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and fiancee and their two dogs. His hobbies include fishing, playing golf, cooking, and sketch art.
Zach Harrow
Product Marketing and Editorial
Zach Harrow joined the Medicare Mall Team in July. Originally from Dallas, He is currently attending Texas State as a Mass Communications/Electronic Media major & Music minor. He has experience working in Advertisement & Media Production with such companies as: Harris Media LLC & ASAP Pro Notary Services. In his spare time you can find him attending a local concert, reading a good book, listening to vinyl, or simply being outdoors.
Ashley Bonnard
Editorial and Design
Ashley joined the MedicareMall team in July. Born and raised in Houston, TX, She is currently going to Texas State and in her last semester of school. Aside from graphic design, she loves photography, movies, being outdoors, good food and hanging out with friends.
